Israeli surgeons perform first complete rib cage replacement with 3D printed implement

Procedure Details: To remove the cancer, doctors had to excise her sternum and attached ribs; they then reconstructed the area using a custom 3D-printed implant designed to provide both strength and flexibility while protecting the heart and lungs [00:23].
